About Me

Brian M. Keltner received his Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver, and is a Colorado State licensed (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with 15 years of professional counseling experience.

Since 2007, Brian has helped people from a variety of backgrounds address mental health issues including depression, anxiety, childhood abuse, anger/stress management, grief-and-loss, relationship and marital conflict, domestic violence, interpersonal and professional boundaries, as well as life transitions such as divorce, job loss, retirement, and terminal illness. In addition, as a former U.S. Marine deployed to Mogadishu, Somalia in 1993--a region devastated by anarchy, bloodshed, famine, starvation, and insurgency--at the height of that country's civil war, he has worked successfully with military veterans struggling with PTSD, depression, anger, and suicidal thinking.

Prior to entering the mental health field, Brian studied English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Colorado at Boulder where he earned his undergraduate degree before becoming a school teacher in Los Angeles for several years.
